<p><strong>PURPOSE OF THE JOB&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To assist the Site HSE Manager implement Health, Safety and Environment management systems in order to ensure compliance to best practice and regulatory requirements and to uphold NMC site HSE Standard.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>THE JOB&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Drive the implementation of FMN Critical to Safety programs and&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;effectiveness.&nbsp;</li><li>Drive implementation of Behavioral Based Safety Program BBS.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify&nbsp;hazards and&nbsp;risks&nbsp;in the workplace and implement adequate control measures.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect and evaluate equipment and processes to ensure safety compliance.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct weekly Toolbox Talk to create and sustain HSE awareness.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in HSE audits and engage responsible persons for closures of audit gaps.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Review and periodically test effectiveness of site emergency plans.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and review risk assessment and develop SSW for technical interventions.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage issuance of and compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;Personal Protective Equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Investigate accidents and incidents and define control measures to avoid&nbsp;recurrence.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>THE PERSON MUST&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.&nbsp;</li><li>Have&nbsp;demonstrated&nbsp;analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Possess interpersonal Have strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards and stakeholders&rsquo; management abilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Have great organizational and time management abilities.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATION&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>HND/B.Sc. In Environmental Science or Engineering.&nbsp;</li><li>NEBOSH Certificate, other relative HSE Professional.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3&nbsp;years&#39; experience&nbsp;in a similar role.&nbsp;</li></ul>
