<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><ul><li>Provides a wide range of HR services that align with business needs, company culture, HR policies and procedures.</li><li>Participates in the design and implementation of HR initiatives and programs to enhance employee experience, meet business needs and enable talent.Supports day-to-day HR operations and leads projects of small to medium scope and complexity under limited supervision.</li><li>Supports customers and advises business and HR leaders on workforce/workplace issues.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br />Supports general HR operations including but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Administers compensation and benefit plans.</li><li>Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.</li><li>Conducts/supports employee onboarding, training &amp; other development initiatives to meet needs of specific teams/organization.</li><li>Develops and implements Human Resource policies.</li></ul><p>HR Projects:</p><ul><li>Participates in various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee experience.</li><li>Coordinates employee engagement activities and events including employee recognition, professional development, career management etc.</li><li>Participates in development and deployment plans for new programs and/or promotes HR programs to create an efficient and inclusive workplace.</li><li>Supports change management initiatives e.g., Assists in the development of communications or a communication plan, for a project or initiative, affecting multiple groups.</li><li>Manages and coordinates the implementation/execution of smaller scale specific HR programs or initiatives.</li></ul><p>HR Analytics:</p><ul><li>Utilizes systems to generate reports, manipulate, interpret and report data for business decision making.</li><li>Gathers and analyses data with useful HR metrics and models to understand current and future trends, perform analysis on data extracted, flag anomalies and develop action plans to improve.</li><li>Maintains currency with HR current trends, issues, and best practices that are applicable to the function and business.</li><li>Provides business support and analysis for talent management applications and systems.</li><li>Researches industry trends relative to a specific design and/or administrative issue i.e. pay protection, allowances, alternative work schedules etc..</li></ul><p>Employee experience &amp; people management:</p><ul><li>Enhances employee experience by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.</li><li>Provides support to employees on various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.</li><li>Ensures compliance with labour regulations and other employment laws and regulations.</li><li>Facilitates routine discussions between employees and/or supervisors. Handles discipline and employee complaint cases using knowledge of conflict resolution principles and tools.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Will Bring</strong><br />Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other Social Sciences and related fields.</li><li>HR related training, certifications, and MBA will be a plus.</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>3 - 5 years&#39; experience as a Human Resources Generalist and/or specialist.</li></ul><p>Expertise:</p><ul><li>General understanding of HR products, services, processes policies and procedures.</li><li>Good understanding of tools and principles related to most HR disciplines.</li><li>Good understanding of principles and technologies in other related fields and how to apply them in developing solutions/products.</li></ul><p>Analytical skills:</p><ul><li>Understanding of HR data and systems of record, and the impact of data integrity on HR processes and decisions.</li><li>Knowledge of employment and labor laws in a variety of situations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Office and Human Resource Information Systems.</li></ul>
