<h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Head of HR - Performance Management System Group Level will lead the development, implementation, and governance of performance management frameworks across a group of companies with diverse business operations. This strategic role ensures alignment of performance management processes with the overarching goals of the group while catering to the unique needs of individual entities. The ideal candidate will drive consistency, foster a high-performance culture, and integrate performance systems with talent development, succession planning, and organizational goals</p><p><strong>Job Details</strong></p><p><strong>Group-Level Strategy and Alignment</strong></p><ol><li>Develop and implement a unified performance management strategy that aligns with the vision and goals of the group.</li><li>Ensure coherence in performance management practices across subsidiaries while allowing for tailored approaches as per business needs.</li><li>Collaborate with leadership across group entities to define measurable KPIs and metrics aligned with their operational objectives.</li><li>Act as the primary custodian of the performance management philosophy and ensure buy-in across all levels of leadership.</li></ol><p><strong>System Design and Optimization</strong></p><ol><li>Design and implement a scalable performance management framework that caters to the needs of a multi-industry group.</li><li>Leverage HR technology to establish standardized yet flexible systems for appraisals, feedback, and goal-setting across the group.</li><li>Introduce a balanced scorecard or similar methodology to evaluate individual, team, and entity-level performance.</li><li>Establish clear linkages between performance evaluations and compensation, promotions, and rewards.</li></ol><p><strong>Performance Culture and Development</strong></p><ol><li>Champion a high-performance culture that prioritizes accountability, continuous improvement, and recognition.</li><li>Integrate performance systems with talent development, leadership pipelines, and succession planning.</li><li>Identify group-wide training needs and work with business leaders to address skill gaps through targeted interventions.</li></ol><p><strong>Governance and Change Management</strong></p><ol><li>Develop governance models to ensure compliance with performance management processes across all subsidiaries.</li><li>Act as a change agent, driving the adoption of modern performance management practices across diverse business entities.</li><li>Facilitate workshops and forums for subsidiary HR leaders to ensure alignment and share best practices.</li></ol><p><strong>Analytics and Reporting</strong></p><ol><li>Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data across the group.</li><li>Provide the Group CHRO and leadership with actionable insights and recommendations to improve organizational performance.</li><li>Benchmark group performance metrics against industry standards to maintain a competitive edge.</li></ol><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ol><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Master’s preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles within large or group organizations.</li><li>Proven track record of implementing performance management systems across complex, matrixed organizations.</li><li>Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, HR analytics, and reporting tools.</li><li>Experience in handling multi-industry or multi-geographical businesses is essential.</li><li>Certification in HR-related disciplines e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPM is desirable.</li></ol><p><strong>Key Skills and Competencies</strong></p><ol><li>Strong expertise in performance management systems, frameworks, and technology at a group level.</li><li>Deep understanding of managing HR processes across multi-industry, multi-geography organizations.</li><li>Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to balance strategic oversight with operational execution.</li><li>Strong cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work with diverse teams.</li></ol>
