Job DescriptionFront desk/ Administrative Personnel will undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of the main entrance.He/she will act as support to the school being the first contact / front line in receiving visitors, staff and pupils to the school.He/she will also provide general administrative support duties to staff.ResponsibilitiesWelcoming, receiving, signing in and dealing with and directing staff, pupils, parents, school governors, school visitors and other stakeholders as appropriateManaging the staff, pupils, parents and visitors to the school entry systemOperating the school’s main telephone, transferring calls, or taking and delivering messages as appropriateManaging the school’s primary inbox, replying, forwarding messages and making appointments for staff as appropriateTo build and manage the ambiance of the front office.Manage incoming calls in a pleasant phone manner.Manage correspondence between school, parent and prospective parentIdentify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfactionBuild sustainable relationships and trust with Parents/Pupils/Colleagues through open and interactive communication.Provide accurate, valid and complete information during the inquiry.Handle parent complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.Keep records of parent interactions, process and file documentsParticipate in the admission processundertake other duties as directed.RequirementsDegree in Humanities or any Social Sciences from a reputable UniversityAt least two (2) years’ work experience within an administrative team.Good command of written and spoken EnglishStrong phone contact handling skills and active listeningFamiliarity with MS Office packageCustomer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of charactersExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyAbility to work in a teamGood administrative skills.
