<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><ul><li>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations and HR Assistant to support our daily operations and HR functions.</li><li>The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of experience in an HR or operations role, assisting in a variety of administrative tasks, coordinating HR activities, and streamlining office processes.</li><li>This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to gain experience in both operations management and HR functions within a dynamic work environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br />Human Resources HR Support:</p><ul><li>Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.</li><li>Support new hire onboarding, including orientation sessions, preparation of onboarding materials, and setup of employee records.</li><li>Maintain and update employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Help coordinate employee engagement activities, training sessions, and performance review processes.</li><li>Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and leave requests.</li></ul><p>Operations Support:</p><ul><li>Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office, including managing supplies, organizing facilities, and coordinating with vendors.</li><li>Assist in scheduling, travel arrangements, and logistics for company meetings and events.</li><li>Support budget management by tracking expenses and processing invoices &amp; quotes, collaborating closely with the finance team.</li><li>Implement and maintain efficient filing systems for easy document retrieval and process management.</li><li>Help develop and refine operations policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.</li><li>Must have completed NYSC program.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR, administrative, finance or operations role.</li><li>Basic knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with HRIS/ATS software.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience with HR and office management software.</li><li>Knowledge of basic accounting and budget management.</li><li>Previous experience in an HR/Operations support role within a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p>Key Skills:</p><ul><li>HR Skills: Recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee records management, HR policy understanding.</li><li>Operations Skills: Office administration, vendor management, basic accounting, scheduling.</li><li>Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Workspace.</li><li>Soft Skills: Organizational skills, time management, multitasking, attention to detail, strong communication.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li><li>Opportunities for growth within both HR and operations functions</li><li>Dynamic work environment with diverse, collaborative teams.</li></ul>
